Our mission is to ensure children throughout Indiana are empowered with essential skills to thrive in kindergarten and beyond. As part of our dedication and ongoing efforts, we launched a Kindergarten Readiness campaign in January, specifically tailored to our DEL families. This comprehensive campaign
includes a blog series on school registrations and a monthly activity series, providing families with valuable resources to prepare their children for the transition. With this latest cohort entering kindergarten, we have many openings across our centers in preschool and pre-K classrooms. These vacancies provide an opportunity for us to continue making a significant impact on the lives of young learners in our community.

At our latest Town Hall, we had several team members presenting on a variety of topics such as organizational health, enrollment efforts, our resilient classroom curriculum, updates from the CCR&R Central Office, highlights from quarter four, safety and security updates as well as results from our Quality Study. Our AMP Pillars and ToTaL Package award winners were also announced.

Making your money count. That’s the theme behind Money Mentors, a new, three-part pilot series that kicked off on Wed., June 21 at Day Early Learning Park 100. Families have been invited to participate in this free service as a way to learn more about managing finances and achieving better financial health.
Over the course of the series, participants are matched with a Money Mentors tutor to ask their money questions and learn helpful tips on budgeting and creating spending plans, saving for the future, banking and insurance, career exploration and more. Early Learning Indiana thanks its generous friends at The Actuarial Foundation, Day Nursery Auxiliary and Early Head Start for making this series possible.
We are thrilled to present the DEL Resource Page, your ultimate destination for all the resources you need to streamline your classroom operations. Our user-friendly resource page provides a centralized platform where you can find the webpages relevant to your daily tasks and center forma that can be displayed across your centers.
As part of their Clothing Study at Day Early Learning Federal Building, our Adventurers 2 classroom have been inviting visitors in uniform to their classroom. The father of two of our students volunteered to show the children his National Guard uniform and brought small flags for all the children in our center to take home today.
We also received a visit from our building's FPS officers to extend our clothing study. The children were able to explore badges, hats, stickers and more. Following first name introductions, the children also prepared a list of questions for our visitors.
