Why We Do What We Do
We're excited for you to see how we continue to positively evolve our recruitment efforts showcasing our incredible talent... YOU!
Health Benefits Survey
As part of our semi-annual review of employer-provided health benefits, we've engaged our benefits broker to conduct a survey that aims to gain a deeper understanding of your experience with our benefits offerings. The survey will be sent later this month via SurveyMonkey and will be administered directly by our benefits broker. Participation in this survey is voluntary and all responses are completely anonymous. This survey will take less than 10 minutes to complete. We look forward to your feedback.
Recognizing our Pillars and ToTaL in Action
Remember to submit your nominations in recognition of team members' outstanding contributions and commitments to their peers, our children and families. The quarterly AMP Pillars and ToTaL Package awards will be announced at the June 27 Town Hall. Also, visit the Early Learning Indiana Brag Board on Microsoft Teams to read all of the recent shout-outs and share a shout-out of your own!
At NAEYC's Professional Learning Institute, ELI Chief Learning Officer Erin Kissling delivered a dynamic session focused on addressing the challenges faced by the child care workforce. She also highlighted our classroom support professional model
and emphasized the importance of educational opportunities and development for our team members.
Business Equity for Indy
The Indy Chamber has developed a two-year pilot program that introduces a technical assistance framework for small and mid-sized companies. This program aims to support the implementation of best practice recommendations, leading to enhanced wellbeing outcomes, decreased racial disparities and improved business success metrics. Maureen presented on the racial inequalities in early childhood education and how the business community can help broaden access to child care, at their recent Workforce Pilot event.
Celebrating Generosity
Early Learning Indiana Board Member Jill Robisch opened her home to welcome some of Early Learning Indiana's most generous benefactors. This evening of gratitude also featured a conversation facilitated by Maureen and special guest Marc Hernandez, PhD, principal research scientist with The Bridge at NORC and director of Early Childhood Research & Practice Collaborative. It's the generous contributions from these individuals and organizations that help accelerate the remarkable work happening in our classrooms.
TRENDING ACROSS OUR DAY EARLY LEARNING CENTERS
Growing Minds, Sowing Knowledge
Children in our Day Early Learning centers have been busy little gardeners throughout this month! They have enjoyed potting flowers with their loved ones, embarking on garden studies, growing their own plants and veggies, and so much more!
