AMPed Up PD Day

Our second annual Professional Development Day was phenomenal. Bringing together our teaching teams to collaborate, enhance skills and grow as a learning community was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. Click the video above to watch a recap of the day. Thank you to the Gene and Rosemary Tanner Strengthening Teaching Fund and PNC Grow Up Great for helping us better serve Hoosier Families!

TRENDING ACROSS OUR DAY EARLY LEARNING CENTERS

Black History Month Celebrations

In honor of Black History Month, our centers continued highlighting contributions by African Americans. From the inventor of the stop light to the inventor of the super soaker and much more - each classroom found fun and creative ways to learn about our rich history. Take a look at what everyone's been up to.

    Learning at Every Stage

Early Learning Indiana has welcomed five new volunteers from the University of Indianapolis. These students have chosen to complete their service-learning hours in our Day Early Learning centers where they interact with young learners while increasing their own knowledge about the importance of early care and education. Depending on their interests and class requirements, students were matched for the semester with a primary center to serve as classroom volunteers for up to eight hours a month.

    Safety Spotlight

During February, our Safety Spotlight topic is DEL Family Hub. It’s important to keep track of a child’s attendance using the DEL Family Hub app. Team members must make sure that families remember to check in and check out their child. This allows classrooms to have an accurate attendance count.
