Did you know we went on tour this year? A DEL tour! We are so excited to share our new DEL Tour video with you. We are even more excited for this video to give future families an opportunity to see, feel and understand how children thrive in our learning environments, before they even have the chance to step into our centers.
UKG Gets an Upgrade
Taking effect on Sept. 24, our UKG platform will shift to the Axiom portion of UKG. Axiom will allow us to better customize the experience for our team members, while maintaining the user interface present within UKG.
During the transitional period, team members will not be able to make self-service changes in their UKG accounts. Please make any necessary changes by Aug. 31 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Team members can still clock in and clock out on the current app, but will need to email Talent Experience directly to do things like:
Change your address, phone number or emergency contact
Update your benefits based on a qualified life event
Update direct deposit information
Make a tax adjustment
Please reach out to Neekol Dalton, Vice President of Talent Experience if you want to make changes after Aug. 31 or have any questions.
Suit Up for Day of Impact
This is your last chance to confirm your shirt size for Day of Impact! The deadline to submit your size is Aug. 31.
ELI team members recently made the trip to Elkhart County’s Waste Away facility where Andi Atherine, alongside members from Geminus, had the opportunity to present on the business case for early learning, sharing the status of child care access in the state and Elkhart County, along with actions business leaders can take to support their employees' child care needs.
We are thankful for the incredible opportunity we had to share this presentation with local business and human resource leaders from other organizations.
"Fair" Play
We are so fortunate to have been able to attend the TCCRN, CCA, CASY and Building Blocks provider fairs over the past two months. We had tables to promote Early Learning Marketplace, The Resilient Classroom and Getting on Track. These provider fairs were hosted by the CCRR Network and allowed for great opportunities to network and spread the word about the awesome programs ELI has to offer.
FORVIS Lends A Hand
We had the privilege of hosting two groups from FORVIS – one of the nation's top 10 public accounting firms – during their service day. At our statewide office, their efforts took shape in the form of invaluable support for our upcoming events and initiatives.
The FORVIS teams assembled 150 Family Kits, each thoughtfully curated to include safety-themed books and essential items. They also created 465 Infant and Toddler Reading Bags for children at Indianapolis Day Early Learning centers and two additional Early Head Start programs.
A second group of volunteers added to our outdoor beautification efforts at Day Early Learning Lilly Family Center. They created a second music wall that the children have already been putting to use. Do you know a group that might be interested in volunteering with us? Reach out to Natalie Brake.

Good Thymes Gardening
It’s summertime and the garden harvests are in full swing! Our little gardeners have loved using their green thumbs to add soil into their garden boxes and pick the fresh veggies they’ve been nurturing.
